Human Rights have been around since the beginning of mankind. Obviously they wouldn't have a written list of human rights, but people still knew who could do what, it was put into them from birth. It was the people who wanted power who stopped them.
I always wondered why human rights weren't reinforced everywhere. Then it dawned on me that the U.N. didn't have a large military force to back up what they say. They didn't have the power to force them to follow their human rights if a country didn't want to follow them, then they didn't.
I already knew about the UN declaration of human rights.
I would like to know what's being done now about human rights and I would like to know more about the cyrus column.
I learn't about how cyrus got rid of slavery, they french Natural Rights and about Eleanor Roselvelt at the UN.
