City of the future
City of the future:
Power dome®:
This is the main part of making the city eco friendly. Inside the glass dome is a large amount of solar panels. The energy from the solar panels will be stored in a large electrical storage area next to the power dome® when the electricity is not being used. Also inside is farmland, the ratio of farmland to solar panels is about 1:4. The dome will act as a green house to help the crops grow. This will help stop use of fossil fuels to power a plane or ship to transport food over seas. Multiple power domes® will be located around the city because one power dome® cannot power an entire city. If the day is too cloudy in order to make a good amount of power, electricity will be sent from another power dome® in a sunnier part of the city. This is to give a constant flow of electricity.
Electrical tram services:
Electrical tram systems will not give of any Carbon Dioxide emissions and will be powered by a nearby power dome®. This will be a stress free, traffic-less form of public transport. Each tram will hold seven people because the trams will be used for private use-family or friends can ride without strangers, still open to public. There will be multiple lanes per rail to avoid long waits for trams. If enough station and used, there will no longer be a need for cars.
Green roof:
Some people refer to this as LiveRoofs, this will not only encourage more greenery, the greenery on the roofs of the building will act as a natural filter of Carbon Dioxide due to the process of photosynthesis. This can also act as an extra form of insulation. This will help lower the use of electricity to warm the building.
Overall:
Many People believe that a city with skyscrapers is always none eco friendly. But with the right moves, a city can be as eco friendly as a plain forest. I do not believe that a city must not have skyscrapers to be eco friendly. The city I have created proves that.

WOW! You have described the key features of your design, justified their use and explained how they are eco-friendly. A good level of explanation and analysis is evident Danny, well done. Let's try and film the google sketch to demonstrate the great levels of complexity and creativity you have used :D
